We're absolutely thrilled to share more amazing news from Goa Outreach! One of our brilliant young ladies has been honored by the Ganpat Parsekar College of Education not once, but twice! She received an award for Academic Excellence and a token of appreciation for securing 2nd place in Arts with a magnificent 86.16% in her 12th standard exams.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is the adversity she faced: she accomplished this incredible feat even after a tree collapsed on her family's home during her studies. This young woman exemplifies what dedication and an indomitable spirit can truly achieve. Celebrate with us!

We're absolutely thrilled to share some fantastic news: all of our Final Year Bachelor's students have passed their exams! We couldn't be prouder of their incredible hard work and dedication across the Arts, Commerce, and Physical Education streams.

A special shout-out goes to our Physical Education graduate, who has already landed a job at an international school in Kerala! We know he'll be an amazing addition to their faculty.

And the highest honors go to a phenomenal young woman who achieved a First Class in her Bachelor of Commerce Degree, missing a distinction by just 2%! What an amazing accomplishment!

Yesterday was a day of sweet surprises and gentle stretches here at Goa Outreach! We were thrilled to welcome back the wonderful Avni from IIMUN (India's largest youth-run organization) for a special yoga session with our children.

It's been a busy week, and after a hearty lunch, some of our little ones were in full "pensioner mode," catching some serious Zs! ?? It took a little nudging (and a few gentle shakes!) from Robert and our team to get them up and ready, but once they wiped the sleep from their eyes and splashed some water on their faces, they embraced the yoga poses with enthusiasm.

To add to the fun and as a special treat, we had delicious chocolate brownies waiting for them! Plus, Avni and her friends from IIMUN brought fantastic snack boxes filled with pastries, cupcakes, sweets, and juice boxes - what a treat!

It was lovely to see a few parents watching on, as their children stretched and moved. These moments of joy and healthy activity are so important for our disadvantaged children here in Goa.

The pre-monsoon showers made preparing for the new school year a bit challenging, but thanks to the incredible support from Purple Martini and Radha Raman Food for Livelihood, we were able to provide bags, books, uniforms, and stationery to so many children!

Their generosity ensured that these children have everything they need to start the school year right. We are truly grateful for their partnership!

A few children are still returning from their villages, and we're excited to get them sorted with their new school supplies too. This year, our children are attending over 25 different schools and colleges, which means lots of different uniforms to be stitched! Even choosing sandals can be an adventure!

What an inspiring start to our weekend! This past Saturday, May 31st, our incredible kids teamed up with the Indian Navy and IIMUN (India's largest youth-run organization) for a powerful Swachhata Campaign event at Coco Beach, Nerul.

It was an early start for many, with some up as early as 5 AM to catch the 6 AM bus - talk about dedication! But the early wake-up was well worth it. After weeks of rain, we were blessed with a beautiful sunny morning, perfect for our beach cleanup. For an hour, we scoured the beach, dunes, and rocks, collecting all sorts of waste. From plastic bottles and glass shards to unexpected finds like a stainless steel bowl and a screwdriver, every piece removed made a difference. With fantastic support from IIMUN and the cadets from the Indian Navy, we managed to fill numerous bin bags with rubbish, leaving Coco Beach much cleaner than we found it.

Huge thanks to the Indian Navy and IIMUN for organizing refreshments and for their incredible partnership. It's truly amazing to see our youth, the Navy, and IIMUN "joining forces" to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility. A special shout-out to the Station Commander, INS Mandovi, for their support!Let's keep this momentum going and continue to protect our beautiful environment!
